Teem was PepsiCo's first attempt at a lemon-lime flavored soda.
Teem was originally introduced by PepsiCo in 1959 as a lemon-lime brand of soda, as their way to compete with other brands such as Sprite and 7-Up. Teem was discontinued in 1984, and was replaced with Slice Lemon Lime that same year. Slice (along with their sister brand, Storm) was replaced with Sierra Mist in 2000. In 2016, Sierra Mist was replaced with Mist Twst, which was only available for two years before it way replaced in 2018 with the revived Sierra Mist. In 2023, Sierra Mist was discontinued (again) and replaced with PepsiCo's current lemon-lime soda brand, Starry.
