Pepsol (also known as Sparkling Pepsol) is a former brand of cola flavored soda.
History[]
Pepsol was originally introduced in 1894.[1] Like many earlier sodas of the time, it was originally marketed as a type of medicine, being advertised as a cure for indigestion.
Pepsol was eventually acquired by the similarly-named competitor Pepsi, with the "Pepsol" name and logo being a trademark of Pepsico beginning in 1907.[2] Pepsol appears to have been immediately phased out after this acquisition, with it last being advertised a year earlier in 1906.
