Pepsi Vanilla is a Pepsi cola flavor that was officially released alongside Diet Pepsi Vanilla in stores in the United States, and Canada in August 2003. It was PepsiCo's attempt to compete with Coca-Cola's Vanilla Coke. Presumably, in 2008, it was later discontinued. In late January 2019, it was officially released again in stores as a permanent flavor.
Description[]
Pepsi Vanilla is a variant of Pepsi which is brown in color, similar to Coca-Cola Vanilla, Pepsi Ice Cream, and Diet Pepsi Vanilla. Its flavor is the same as regular Pepsi but with added vanilla flavor.
History[]
Pepsi Vanilla was first introduced alongside Diet Pepsi Vanilla in stores of the United States in August 2003 in an attempt to compete with Coca-Cola's Vanilla Coke. Not long after its release, unfortunately, Pepsi Vanilla was presumably discontinued in 2008 speculating of its lack of advertisements compared to Coca-Cola Vanilla's advertisements during that time.
In late January 2019, it was officially released again in stores as a permanent flavor in the United States.

The Philippines Release[]
In July 2018, Pepsi Vanilla alongside Pepsi Lime was exclusively introduced in The Philippines for a limited time at participating 7-Eleven store locations which lasted until the discontinuation of November 2018.
Canadian Release[]
Pepsi Vanilla was first introduced in stores in Canada in August 2003 in an attempt to compete with Coca-Cola's Vanilla Coke. Not long after its release, unfortunately, Pepsi Vanilla was presumably discontinued in 2005.
On July 17th, 2019, Pepsi Vanilla was exclusively re-introduced in Canada for a limited time.
