Pepsi Salted Caramel was a Pepsi cola flavor that was officially released in stores on November 6th, 2017 until the discontinuation of December 31st, 2017, in the United States as a limited edition cola flavor for the holiday season of 2017. It was later released in Vietnam in December 2018 and then discontinued in March 2019.
Description[]
Pepsi Salted Caramel is a variant of Pepsi which is brown in color. Its flavor is the same as regular Pepsi but with added salted caramel flavor.
History[]
On August 1st, 2017, YouTube channel myCountyMarket posted a soda review about two holiday season flavors, which was Pepsi Salted Caramel, and Mountain Dew Holiday Brew, on their video on YouTube. The channel stated that these two soda variants are going to be released on November 6th, 2017 and until December 31st, 2017 from a nine week period as a limited edition in the United States.
Similar to previous releases, there had been early reports of Pepsi Salted Caramel before the set release date which was scheduled to be from November 6th, 2017 and until December 31st, 2017, such as YouTubes, who found Pepsi Salted Caramel on October 30th, 2017.
It was exclusively released in late-October 2017 in Circle K locations, alongside with Mountain Dew Pitch Black II from it's Icee form. A week later, Pepsi Salted Caramel has been officially released on November 6th, 2017, in stores in the United States. The cola was later discontinued on December 31st, 2017 after the original limited edition soda run in the United States.
Vietnam Release[]
In December 2018, It was later released in Vietnam as a limited edition cola flavor for early 2019. It was discontinued around March 2019.
Chinese Release[]
It was later released in China. Not much known about this Chinese release. More information coming soon.
