Mello Yello is a citrus flavored soda. It was originally introduced by The Coca-Cola Company in 1979 as a way to compete with Mountain Dew. It is available in the U.S, Canada, Guam, and Japan.

- It can be found on fountain at all Arbys and Culver’s restaurants, as well as every place with a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine.
- It can be also found at Sonic Drive-in locations in Seattle, Washington.
- Despite Coca-Cola releasing other Citrus based sodas such as Simba, Surge, and Vault, Mello Yello is currently the only Citrus soda released by Coca-Cola that hasn't been discontinued.
- Mello Yello was featured in the 1990 NASCAR-based movie Days of Thunder, in which Tom Cruise's character, Cole Trickle, drove a Mello Yello-sponsored car to victory in the Daytona-500, although the product name itself is never verbally mentioned in the movie.
- Mello Yello, along with Sprite and Fresca, used to be sold in green bottles, but is now sold in only clear bottles due to recycling issues. However, Mountain Dew and 7up still use green bottles.
- In Japan, Mello Yello is a citrus flavored variant of Fanta called Fanta Mello Yello.
