Hydrox Cola was the former basic Cola flavor of Hydrox.
Despite Hydrox releasing their line of soda in 1937, it appears that the basic Cola flavor wasn't released until a year later in 1938.
Oddly enough, on occasion the flavor was advertised as Graf's Hydrox Soda despite the fact that Graf's had no relation to the Hydrox brand once so ever. It was advertised this way only twice in 1937, with the advertisements only applying to the Cola flavor, and not any of the other flavors that Hydrox had to offer at the time. This might possibly be due to the fact that both brands were distributed (not owned) by the same company at the time.
The drink flavor was last advertised in 1983.
