Fanta Zero Apple (known during launch as Fanta Z Apple) is a variant of Fanta Apple that contains no sugar and zero calories. It was only sold in the United Kingdom.
About[]
The drink is Transulcent Yellow in color, like most Apple sodas, and contains 5% Apple Juice. It is sweetened with a mixture of Aspartame and Ace-K, like most low-calorie sodas.
History[]
In November 2005, Coca-Cola announced plans to expand the Fanta range for 2006, including the addition of a new addition to the Fanta Z range for April.[1] This was soon revealed to be an Apple flavor, similar to that of Fanta Apple Splash Low Sugar, which it replaced.
Shortly after it's launch, the "Z" range was rebranded as "Zero" to coincide with the launch of Coca-Cola Zero in the country, and so the drink was rebranded from Fanta Z Apple to Fanta Zero Apple.
The drink was silently discontinued in 2007, likely due to low sales.
