Crush Berry Punch was a Crush flavor that was officially released in stores in 2014 for a limited time that was used to promote the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie in Late Summer of 2014.
Description[]
Crush Berry Punch was a flavor of Crush Orange which was blue in color, much darker than the flavor packet release. Its flavor was a Berry Punch type of Crush.
There was speculation from many people saying that the flavor tastes like blue raspberries with a cotton candy-like and/or blue bubblegum feel.
History[]
In 2014, originally Crush Blue Raspberry was going to be reintroduced in the United States but Keurig Dr Pepper had a different idea in mind. In which to create a new blue soda that was later known as Crush Berry Punch.
Crush Berry Punch was released in Late Summer 2014 for a limited time that was used to promote the theatrical release of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.
During its release, the current Crush flavors in the United States received a design change for their labels to coincide with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie and to match with its characters. The flavors who had the design change were Crush Berry Punch (Leonardo), Crush Orange (Michelangelo), Crush Grape (Donatello), Crush Strawberry (Raphael), and Crush Pineapple (April O'Neil).
The Crush brand also had a Redeem Codes, See the Movie system in which to enter your code from your Crush soda flavors to purchase for $1 off of a TMNT movie ticket or collect six codes to redeem for a free movie ticket. There was another way to get a free movie ticket in which to buy specially marked 2 liters or 20oz. bottles of Crush soda flavors and you have a 1 in 10 chance to win a free ticket to see the movie. The codes were located inside the box of the 12 pack or under the cap of the bottle to win.
After the theatrical release of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, Crush Berry Punch was later discontinued while other Crush flavors returned to their normal packaging design.
Flavor Packets Release[]
In 2015, with no announcement whatsoever, Crush Berry Punch was later released in a form of flavor packets as a permanent flavor for its flavor packets release. It is unknown what made this decision to release it in flavor packets. As of August 2022, it is still available.
