Barq's Root Beer is a brand of root beer that was originally introduced in 1898. The drink was a family run brand until 1995 when it was sold to The Coca-Cola Company, who still continues to manufacture and sell the drink. It eventually inspired many more drinks, like Barq's Crème Soda and Barq's Red Crème Soda.
